(FI) Pienen kesätauon jälkeen on jälleen
sisustusbloggaajaryhmän teemahaasteen aika. Yksi ryhmäläisistämme valitsee
kuukauden sisustusaiheisen teeman, josta jokainen postaa omasta näkökulmastaan.
Kuun lopussa teeman antanut bloggaaja tekee koostepostauksen aiheesta.
Esmeralda’s-blogin ihana Essi antoi elokuun haasteeksi esitellä jonkin
arjessa. Minua ennen aiheesta on postannut jo ainakin
Valkoisen Harmajan Suvi.
Meidän tilanteemmehan on, että asumme mieheni työkomennuksen
vuoksi vuokra-asunnossa, jonka ratkaisuihin emme ole juuri voineet itse
vaikuttaa.
lähes kaikki pysyvät ratkaisut on valitettavasti tehty miettimättä lainkaan
toimivuutta ja käyttömukavuutta tai edes estetiikkaa. Olikin varsin haastavaa
parannus täällä sentään on (lisäneliöiden ohella) entisiin asuntoihimme
verrattuna.
Asumme kaupunkivillassa, jossa on alun perin ollut kaksi
erillistä asuntoa, mutta nykyään niitä vuokrataan yhdessä. Koska meillä on siis
molemmat asunnot käytössä, olemme tehneet alakerran asunnon entiseen
Huoneen nurkassa
isompi operaatio, viereinen kylpyhuone tulee siinä asiassa apuun.
Jottei sisustaminen esteettinen puoli ihan unohtuisi, rumaa
Joutuuko kukaan muu raahaamaan pyykkejä kerroksesta toiseen?
(IT) Dopo una
partecipare all'iniziativa.
all'estetica.
bucato. Voi che tipi di soluzioni lavanderia avete? Qualcun altro deve portare
il bucato su e giù nelle scale?
(EN) After
a small summer break our blogger group continues with new theme posts. One of
us chooses a monthly theme and the others write a post on it from their own point
of view. At the end of the month the blogger that chose the theme will do a
final summery post. Essi from the lovely blog Esmeralda's challanges us to show
in August a really practical design solution at home. Good interior design is
not just about beautiful spaces but also about functional solutions that work
in the everyday life. At least Suvi has already
published a post on this month's theme on her blog Valkoinen Harmaja.
Our family
lives at the moment in a rented house because of my husband's work project in
Germany and we haven't been able to do anything to the permanent design
solutions in the house. We really love the neighborhood and the house is full
of potential so it's a real pity that no attention was paid to the
functionality or even the aesthetics when the house was renovated. Therefore it
wasn't easy to find a solution that I would like to show on the blog but
actually there is one improvement in this house compared to our old homes (in
addition to the extra space we have here).
We live in
a townhouse divided into two apartments that are currently rented together.
This gave us the possibility of turning the downstairs apartment old kitchen
space into a laundry room. The room is quite square so it's not very easy to
furnish but we now have here a washing machine and a dryer, a long tabletop
where I can fold the clean laundry, an ironing board, a big clothes horse that
doesn't show in the pictures and also a coat rack of hanging the ironed pieces
of clothing. At one end of the tabletop there's space for a mangle and under it
there are Ikea's metal wire baskets for dirty laundry and two baskets for clean
laundry that needs to be ironed. In the corner on the right from the window
there's an old built-in cupboard where we keep all the cleaning stuff. The only
thing lacking in the room is a washbasin but installing one would have been a
little complicated we just use the one in the bathroom next to the room.
I'm never
able to totally ignore the aesthetics so I've added a small kelim rug on the
floor and a beautiful seagrass basket is used for carrying the underwear and
socks upstairs. These details don't make the room beautiful but at least they
make it a bit nicer to spend time in the space. If only I could have a small
television on the wall and, most of all, move the room two stairs up next to
the bedrooms, doing the laundry almost would be a luxury. Do you have a
functional laundry space solution at home? Does anyone else need to curry the
laundry up and down the stairs?
